Grosmont è un villaggio e una parrocchia civile situata a Eskdale nel Parco Nazionale dei North York Moors, all'interno dei confini del distretto di Scarborough della contea di North Yorkshire, Inghilterra.
Il Priore di Grosmont fu fondato nel XII secolo e chiuso durante la dissoluzione dei monasteri nel XVI secolo. Il villaggio fu fondato negli anni 1830 quando fu costruita la ferrovia da Whitby a Pickering, e crebbe a causa dell'estrazione industriale di minerale di ferro, e negli anni 1860 lo sviluppo di una fonderia portò a ulteriore crescita. Fino ad almeno gli anni 1850 il villaggio era conosciuto come Tunnel.
