Neu-Moresnet is een deelgemeente van de Belgische Duitstalige gemeente Kelmis in de provincie Luik.
Tot aan de Franse revolutie behoorde Moresnet tot het hertogdom Limburg. De bovenloop van de Tüljebach vormde de grens met het Heilige Roomse Rijk. Neu-Moresnet ontstond onder de naam Pruisisch-Moresnet toen de gemeente Moresnet in 1816 na het Congres van Wenen in drie stukken werd gedeeld. Het Verenigd Koninkrijk der Nederlanden nam daarvan het westelijk gedeelte met het gelijknamige dorp Moresnet, Pruisen het oostelijk gedeelte waar een nieuw dorp Preußisch-Moresnet ontstond en het middelste gedeelte, de huidige plaats Kelmis, rond de zinkmijn van Altenberg / Vieille-Montagne werd een condominium onder de naam Neutraal Moresnet.
