Die ältesten Teile dieser Kirche gehen bis ins 12. Jh. zurück. Der Bau wurde im 13. Jh. mit einem Transept abgerundet und einem Turm in der Vierung fertig gestellt und im 15. Jh. mit einem Chor ergänzt; im 17. Jh. folgten dann weitere Adaptionen.
1719 wurde die Kapelle des Heiligen Kreuzes hinzugefügt. In ihr werden sorgsam zwei wundertätige Kreuze aufbewahrt. Später, 1865, wurde der Kirchenbau nach Westen hin erweitert. Insgesamt handelt es sich um einen imposanten Bau aus dem für die Region typischen Sandstein.
Bewundern Sie den Kirchenschatz, die Grabsteine, die Gemälde und die besonders schönen Buntglasfenster.
Sankt Martin wird auf einem Retabel auf dem neugotischen Hauptaltar dargestellt und man findet ihn auch in einigen anderen Skulpturen.
Eine Statuengruppe mit der „Krönung Marias“ schmückt einen weiteren Altar. Die Wandbekleidung, die Kanzel und anderes Mobiliar stammen aus dem 18. Jh.
