Le château de Leignon, érigé entre 1895 et 1900 par l’architecte Auguste Van Assche, a une allure néogothique avec des accents « militaires ».
Composé de pièces dédiées chacune à un style différent, le château comprend, notamment, une très belle salle à manger de style gothique flamboyant, comme en attestent, notamment, l’imposante cheminée ouvragée ou le décor lambrissé, et une très belle bibliothèque Art nouveau dont les boiseries sont en acajou et les luminaires en cuivre.
Le palier de l’étage, quant à lui, présente les toiles peintes rappelant les voyages en Orient du constructeur du château.
