Il monte Cusna coi suoi 2121 metri d'altezza, è la maggiore cima dell'Appennino reggiano e la seconda dell'intero Appennino Settentrionale dopo il Monte Cimone. Si estende sui territori dei comuni di Villa Minozzo e Ventasso in provincia di Reggio Emilia, a circa 3 km dal confine con la regione Toscana.
