Het Galgenweel is al langer een zeer populaire loopplek. Het is de thuishaven van verschillende zeilclubs. Tijdens je looptocht heb je dus een onvergetelijk zicht op bootjes die het water doorkruisen met op de achtergrond de skyline van Antwerpen. Voor veel joggers is het ook dé plek voor een lange duurloop, mede door de goede combinatie van verschillende ondergronden. De omloop telt ook het grootste stuk Finse piste van de hele stad.
• de Finse piste telt afstandsaanduidingen om de 100 meter
• ondergrond = zand, harde ondergrond, gras en houtsnippers (Finse piste)
