Four Lane End is het startpunt van de off road de Harside op. Voor mountainbikers een van de mooiste onderdelen van de C2C, mits het weer goed is en het de dagen ervoor niet te veel heeft geregend. het echte off road traject begint iets verder bij Five Road Ends. Daarna volgt een relatief eenvoudig stuk tot Selah Bridge waar de off road route de gewone route kruist. Is het weer in je nadeel, dan kun je nog beslissen om het "ruigere"deel van de route over te slaan en de normale route te volgen, die over de drassige moors loopt.
