Zwartsluis staat in het teken van de watersport. Het wordt wel 'de poort naar het Noorden' genoemd en is tegelijkertijd een eldorado voor pleziervaarders. Museum Schoonewelle (tevens VVV kantoor) geeft een goed beeld van de mens en zijn ambacht in Noordwest Overijssel. Het proces van o.a. rietdekken is hier op boeiende wijze tentoongesteld. U vindt het museum aan de Museumlaan nr. 2.
