Now family & kids so cyclosportives are my limit!
We set out from Pembury in Kent each Sunday for a brisk but mature ride around mid Kent. The routes vary from hilly to flat & we usually start real early in the summer (0700 - 0730) and aim for 2 - 3 hour max rides to get back home. We all have families so it suits us.
We are planning a ride across France from Dieppe to Marseille next July (you can view the details in my France Coast - Coast group).

France - Coast to Coast

In July 2009 a group of riders from Tunbridge Wells in Kent will embark on a gruelling ride across France from Dieppe to Marseille. The aim to is to complete the journey in 6 stages. I have detailed the stages on this events page but in total it amounts to over 1300 km of riding and 12500 meters of climbing. The final stage over Mt.Ventoux is actually a harder stage than this years Etape du Tour...
