Formada per l'Ourthe i l'estuari fins al molí de Faber , l'illa de l'Oneux és un prat de sis hectàrees envoltat de grans àlbers i situat al centre de Hotton.
Aquesta zona és ideal per organitzar esdeveniments , passejar, descansar, nedar , pescar i relaxar-se. Es complementa amb un original parc infantil i un preciós quiosc de la banda de música 'les joyeux travailleurs'.
La fanfàrria existeix des de 1852 i el 2022 va celebrar el seu 170è aniversari. El nom prové dels molts independents que formaven part de la fanfàrria quan es va fundar.
