Die Insel Oneux, die von der Ourthe und der Mündung bis Faber's Mill gebildet wird, ist eine sechs Hektar große Wiese, die von großen Pappeln umgeben ist und sich im Zentrum von Hotton befindet.
Dieser Bereich ist ideal für die Organisation von Veranstaltungen , Wandern, Ausruhen, Schwimmen , Angeln und Entspannen. Ergänzt wird es durch einen originellen Kinderpark und einen schönen Kiosk der Musikkapelle „les joyeux travailleurs“.
Die Fanfare gibt es seit 1852 und im Jahr 2022 feierte sie ihr 170-jähriges Bestehen. Der Name kommt von den vielen Unabhängigen, die bei der Gründung Teil der Fanfare waren.
