La Croix de Corumont es troba en una important cruïlla de camins a 360m d'altitud a La Roche.
En aquest lloc també s'esmenta la creu de Georges Nollomont que va ser assassinat l'any 1654 pels soldats de Lluís XIV. No està clar si es tracta de la mateixa creu, però no es veu cap altra creu.
Si no és una creu en memòria d'algú, s'anomena creu de camp. Com que la figura de Crist aquí no posa el cap a la dreta , sinó a l'espatlla esquerra, es parla d'un estimat Senyor equivocat.
