Aquesta escultura, 'l'Arbalétrier', de Christine Jongen data de 2003-2004 i forma part d'una sèrie de quinze escultures de bronze al llarg d'un camí educatiu a Tournai. Cadascun il·lustra les personalitats, funcions i professions que han modelat la reputació de Tournai al llarg dels segles. Les estàtues estan foses en bronze, de 70 a 75 centímetres d'alçada i col·locades sobre pilars de 2,8 m d'alçada, de fusta, reforçats per una estructura d'acer inoxidable.
