D'acord amb la tradició, en aquest carrer (Baixada de Santa Eulàlia), Eulalia que per defensar la seva fe va patir diferents turments. Un dels turments que va patir va consistir a llançar-la rodolant dins una bóta plena de vidres pel carrer actualment anomenat Baixada de Santa Eulàlia, on hi ha una imatge de la santa en una petita capella.
