La Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar, tradicionalment Santa Maria de la Mar, antigament Santa Maria de les Arenes, és una església de tipus gòtic català de Barcelona, al barri de la Ribera i construïda entre 1329 i 1383. Els arquitectes foren Berenguer de Montagut i Ramon Despuig, el seu deixeble i continuador de les obres a la mort de Montagut. És considerada l'única gran església gòtica catalana acabada a partir d’un sol projecte i d’estil coherent, tot i que un dels campanars no s'acabà fins al segle xix.
