Iecla és un municipi murcià en la comarca de l'Altiplà limítrofa amb el País Valencià. Té 34.404 habitants i limita amb Almansa, Cabdet, Villena, El Pinós, Jumella, Montealegre i Fuentealamo. És molt conegut per la fabricació de mobles i el vi de denominació d'origen. Al seu terme municipal s'hi troba el llogaret catalanoparlant de Raspai, on es parla la variant valenciana de l'idioma.
