Yecla ist eine südostspanische Stadt mit 34.432 Einwohnern im Norden der Provinz Murcia in der gleichnamigen autonomen Region Murcia.
Yecla liegt ca. 86 km nördlich der Stadt Murcia und 60 km vom Mittelmeer entfernt in einer Höhe von ca. 600 m Das Klima im Winter ist gemäßigt, im Sommer dagegen warm bis heiß; die geringen Niederschlagsmengen fallen – mit Ausnahme der nahezu regenlosen Sommermonate – verteilt übers ganze Jahr.
