Manlleu és una ciutat i municipi de Catalunya situat a la comarca d'Osona. Actualment té una població de 20.194 habitants segons IDESCAT i una superfície de 17,2 km².
El riu Ter ha definit els límits del paisatge del terme així com el seu desenvolupament urbà, és per això que popularment se l'anomena "La Capital del Ter".
