Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues és un municipi de la comarca de l'Alt Penedès. El poble de Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues és a la part septentrional del terme. L'església parroquial, que centra la població, és dedicada a sant Cugat màrtir, en record de l'antiga jurisdicció monàstica. L'edifici, molt ampliat i modificat, sembla reconstruït aprofitant murs i altres materials de les antigues fàbriques. El seu precedent immediat era una església gòtica.
