Seva és un municipi d'Osona que es troba a una altitud mitjana de 630 metres a la zona poblada. És un poble que té pocs habitants, només 3.446 l'1 de gener de 2016. Té una extensió de 31 Km2 i està situat al sud-est de la comarca d'Osona i a la falda nord-oest del Montseny.
El poble de Seva està documentat des de l'any 222 i es conserven alguns elements antics els
seus edificis i restes històriques dins del seu nucli urbà.
