Alkiza és un municipi del centre de Guipúscoa, de caràcter rural, al nord-oest de la comarca de Tolosaldea. 27 quilòmetres al sud de Sant Sebastiá. En 2019 tenia 375 habitants, dels quals el 88,8% eren euskalduns. És municipi independent des de 1731, anteriorment va dependre de Tolosa i de Sant Sebastià.
