Totnes és una població del comtat de Devon, al sud-oest d'Anglaterra.
Administrativament forma part del districte de South Hams a la costa sud de Devon, i n'ostenta la seu del Consell de Districte. Es troba a 28 milles al sud-oest d'Exeter i 24 milles de Plymouth. En el cens del 2011 tenia 8.076 habitants . Totnes es troba a la capçalera de la desembocadura del riu Dart, entre els boscos de Dartmoor i l'estuari de Dartmouth.
