L'estret de Calais o pas de Calais és el pas que es troba al punt més estret del canal de la Mànega, entre les ciutats de Calais i Dover , allà on la distància entre aquests dos estats és més curta . En anglès és conegut com l'estret de Dover . Comunica el canal de la Mànega, a l'oest, amb la mar del Nord, a l'est.
És la via marítima més utilitzada del món: la creuen diàriament uns 400 vaixells d'est a oest, a més a més dels ferris que la travessen de nord a sud i viceversa. Aquest darrer trajecte, des del 1994 es pot fer també a través de l'Eurotúnel, que hi passa per sota a una profunditat mitjana de 45 m davall el fons marí.
