A la capella hi ha una estàtua vestida del segle XVII, atribuïda al cercle d'Alonso Cano, i custodiada pel grup de voluntaris de Protecció Civil.
Es porta el dilluns de Pasqua en la processó de la Mare de Déu de l'Esperança i el Senyor Empresonat des de l'ermita de la Vinya pels carrers de la Postura. Més d'un miler de persones , entre autoritats, col·lectius i veïns, acompanyen les estàtues de la Mare de Déu de l'Esperança i Nostre Senyor Preso, que es porten a les espatlles dels membres de la policia local, dels bombers voluntaris d'Adeje, de Protecció Civil d'Adeje. .
També participa a la Santa Trobada del Dimarts Sant.
