Altmünster, også kendt som Altmünster am Traunsee, er en markedby beliggende omkring 3 kilometer syd for Gmunden i den østerrigske stat Oberösterreich, på den vestlige bred af Traunsee. Dens økonomiske grundlag består primært af turisme, let industri, og som en soveby for folk, der arbejder i større byer som Gmunden og Vöcklabruck.
