Den 26. juni 1854 stoppede toget der for første gang. Et højtstående selskab fra Bruxelles og Antwerpen blev der budt velkommen af borgmester Cornelius Cas og befolkningen. Lørdag den 26. juni 2004 blev denne tur, i anledning af stationens 150-års jubilæum, kørt igen.
