Colonster Slot ligger i Sart-Tilman, på en klippe med udsigt over Ourthe-dalen, ved kanten af byen Liège. Slottet og dets park har været ejet af universitetet i Liège siden 1963.
De første henvisninger til slottet stammer fra det 14. århundrede. Slottet skylder sit nuværende udseende til Maximiliaan-Hendrik van Horion, greve af Horion. Indretningen af slottet er lavet af kunstneren Paul-Joseph Delcloche.
