Châtelet er en by i den belgiske provins Hainaut. Byen har over 35.000 indbyggere. Châtelet ligger ved Samber, i den urbane rand omkring Charleroi, som den adskilles fra af ringvejen R3. Udover Châtelet selv, syd for Samber, har kommunen yderligere to andre delkommuner. Det også stærkt urbaniserede Châtelineau ligger ved den nordlige bred af Samber. Det noget mere landlige Bouffioulx ligger lige syd for Châtelet. Bykernen tæller flere kvarterer, herunder Boubier og Faubourg. I Châtelineau ligger blandt andet kvartererne Taillis Pré og Corbeau. I den sydlige del af Bouffioulx ligger landsbyen Chamborgneau.
