For længe siden var Robertville berømt for sine tørvegravere. Dæmningen, som for mere end 90 år siden afledte Warche til en 80 hektar stor sø, gjorde Robertville til et mekka for folk, der søger afslapning. Tætte skove strækker sig helt ned til bredden. Den smukkeste udsigt er fra Haelenerbroen, som går hen over søen i midten.
