Lang geleden was Robertville beroemd om zijn turfstekers. De dam, die meer dan 90 jaar geleden de Warche afdamde tot een 80 hectare groot meer maakte van Robertville een mekka voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar ontspanning. Dichte bossen reiken tot aan de oever. Het mooiste uitzicht is vanaf de Haelenerbrug, die in het midden over het meer loopt.
