Kain er en landsby i den belgiske provins Hainaut og en delkommune af den walisiske by Doornik. Kain var en selvstændig kommune, indtil den ved kommunalreformen i 1977 blev tilføjet kommunen Doornik. I 1905 blev dominikanerne tvunget til at forlade Frankrig; de etablerede deres studium generale i klosteret Le Saulchoir i Kain. Her studerede blandt andre teologerne Edward Schillebeeckx og Jan van der Ploeg.
