Zilvermeer er måske vores mest kendte turistattraktion. Siden 1959 har tusindvis af turister fra ind- og udland hvert år om sommeren nydt solen på den kridhvide strand. Rekreationsområdet ligger i en smuk, skovriche omgivelser. Udover en strand med en svømmesø, har området en omfattende udendørs legeplads for alle aldre.
