Astene er en landsby i den belgiske provins Østflandern og en delkommune af byen Deinze. Landsbyen ligger ved floden Leie, 3 kilometer nedstrøms fra Deinze i retning mod Sint-Martens-Latem.
Landsbyen er vokset kraftigt på grund af sin placering lige uden for byens centrum i Deinze og langs hovedvejen N43 fra Gent til Deinze. Selvom Astene langs dele af N43 mangler enhver byplanlægningsvision, indeholder den også nogle af de smukkeste steder i store Deinze med Astene Sas, den Gamle Leie, Maaigemdijk, nogle interessante private boliger og historiske gårde.
