Thuin er en fransktalende by i Belgien beliggende i den walonske region, som er administrationsby i Hainaut-provinsen, i hjertet af Thudinie og ved sammenløbet af Sambre og Biesmelle. Den grænser op til kommunerne Beaumont, Fontaine-l'Évêque, Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes, Lobbes, Merbes-le-Château, Montigny-le-Tilleul og Walcourt. Kommunen er en hovedstad for skibsfart, da mange ejere af pramme stammer derfra og vælger dette sted som opholdssted, når det er tid til pension. Dens klokketårn er en del af UNESCOs verdensarv. Det er også på territoriet af enheden, i Gozée, at ruinerne af klosteret Aulne ligger.
