I 2020 fik kasteelhoeve et nyt liv, da den daværende flamske minister for turisme, Zuhal Demir (N-VA), tildelte en subsidie på 217.000 euro til dette initiativ. Pengene skulle bruges til køb af kasteelhoeve d’Ursel og de omkringliggende skove. Det skal blive en slags port til det grønne område.
