Den franske militære kirkegård i Machelen-aan-de-Leie ligger i Dorpsstraat. Gennem adgangsporten kan du frit betræde kirkegården. Her mindes 750 faldne franske soldater, der faldt i regionen omkring Leie og Schelde under slutoffensivet i 1918. Hvert år den første søndag i september er der også en fransk-belgisk mindehøjtidelighed her.
