I Beukenlaan-Leenstraat i Zulte blev der plantet en lege- og fødselspark.
De vigtigste træsarter er sommereg, vinterlind, bøgetræ, grov bjørk og almindelig ahorn.
Buskgrænsen består af spansk egen, hækbeuk, vild liguster, hassel og körsbær.
Midt i skoven er der anlagt en blomstereng. Denne oase af grønt er frit tilgængelig for alle.
Beukenbos blev i 2021 yderligere udvidet med en mindeskov.
