In der Beukenlaan-Leenstraße in Zulte wurde ein Spiel- und Geburtswald angepflanzt.
Die Hauptbaumarten sind Sommer-Eiche, Winter-Linde, Buche, raue Birke und Berg-Ahorn.
Die Strauchhecke besteht aus Spanischer Traubeneiche, Hainbuche, Wild-Lebensbaum, Haselnuss und Weißdorn.
In der Mitte des Waldes wurde eine Blumenwiese angelegt. Diese Oase des Grüns ist für jedermann frei zugänglich.
Der Buchenwald wurde 2021 mit einem Erinnerungwald weiter erweitert.
