Royal Golf Club du Sart-Tilman er en golfbane i bakkene ved Liège, og blev designet af Tom Simpson i 1939. Blandt alle de belgiske baner, han har designet, er Simpson mest stolt af denne bane. Denne liège-bane er derfor virkelig smuk. Og det er desto mere bemærkelsesværdigt, da den berømte britiske arkitekt, også designer af banerne i Spa, Ravenstein, Bergen og Antwerpen, i Liège måtte tackle en fjendtlig natur og et begrænset budget. Men efter at have fældet næsten 20 hektar træer, fjernet 40.000 stubbe og tilført 5000 m2 jord, lykkedes det alligevel! Og hvordan ...
