Il Monello, i hjertet af Kontich, blev grundlagt i november 2012 af Antonello og Monica. Både Monica og Antonello kommer fra den italienske ø Sardinien. I den hyggelige familierestaurant serveres der stadig autentiske italienske pizzaer og andre retter. For at opnå de autentiske smage anvendes der altid ingredienser fra Sardinien. Hver dag bliver retterne lavet med passion.
Il Monello har plads til 40 personer, og i godt vejr kan man også nyde terrassen.
