Stedet for duehuset i Floreffe blev indviet i anledning af Kulturarvsdage 2019, efter en smuk vurdering. En smule historie… I 2002 besluttede kommunen Floreffe at købe stedet for duehuset, da det nemlig var forladt. Derefter indledte de en proces med det formål at genvurdere duehuset og hele stedet. I dag har duehuset genvundet sit oprindelige udseende, med fødderne i vandet. Installationen af en gangbro gør det muligt at få adgang.
