I 2017 hjalp beboere og foreninger med at plante skoven. Den fik navnet 'Ockerhout' efter herre Laurentius van Ockerhout (1746 - 1815). Han helligede hele sit liv til sin have og havde gjort sit domæne til en mini-Versailles, hvor folk kom fra nær og fjernt for at se.
Der blev primært plantet sommerek, sort al og vinterlind.
