Mettmenstetten er en politisk kommune i Affoltern-distriktet i kantonen Zürich i Schweiz. Den politiske kommune blev dannet i 1895 af de civile kommuner Ober- og Untermettmenstetten samt af landsbyerne Rossau, Dachlissen og Herferswil.
Mettmenstetten ligger i sydvestlige del af kantonen Zürich og er med 13,11 km² den næststørste kommune i Affoltern-distriktet efter Hausen am Albis og før Stallikon og Affoltern am Albis. Landsbyen Mettmenstetten ligger 17 kilometer i fugleflugt fra Zürich og 12 kilometer fra Zug. Kommunen omfatter landsbyerne Dachlissen, Eigi, Grossholz, Herferswil, Hübscheren, Rossau og Wissenbach. Den største del af kommunens areal er landbrugsjord, som udgør 67,9 procent. Yderligere 19 procent er skov, 7,8 procent er byggeareal, og 5,3 procent er vejareal.
