Harkortsøen mellem byerne Hagen, Herdecke og Wetter er en dæmning anlagt af Ruhrverband som en flodrensningsanlæg, og den blev færdiggjort i 1931 i forløbet af Ruhr i Nordrhein-Westfalen, Tyskland. Harkortsøen er en af i alt seks Ruhr-dæmninger.
Søen har godt 3,1 millioner kubikmeter opsamlet indhold. Dens begyndelse i flodens forløb markeres af Ruhr-viadukten mellem Hagen og Herdecke. Dens ende udgøres af en dæmning under Ruhrbroen på B 226 mellem Hagen og Wetter med en dæmningshøje på næsten otte meter. Mod nord afgrænses Harkortsøen af stejle skråninger fra Ardey-bjergene, der tilbyder vide udsigter over landskabet.
