Il lago Harkort, situato tra le città di Hagen, Herdecke e Wetter, è un bacino artificiale realizzato dal Ruhrverband come impianto di depurazione fluviale e completato nel 1931, nel corso del fiume Ruhr in Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia, Germania. Il lago Harkort è uno dei sei laghi di sbarramento del Ruhr.
Il lago ha una capacità di stoccaggio di oltre 3,1 milioni di metri cubici. Il suo inizio nel corso del fiume è segnato dal viadotto del Ruhr tra Hagen e Herdecke. La sua fine è costituita da una diga sotto il ponte Ruhr della B 226 tra Hagen e Wetter, con un'altezza di sbarramento di quasi otto metri. A nord, il lago Harkort è delimitato da ripide pendici delle montagne Ardey, che offrono ampie vedute sul paesaggio.
