Bad Frankenhausen/Kyffhäuser er en kur- og ferieby i Thuringen Kyffhäuserkreis. Byen har cirka 10.000 indbyggere.
Byen ligger på den sydlige skråning af Kyffhäuserbjergene, på sedimenter af Zechstein, i en højde mellem 130 og 190 m over havets overflade, over den lerbeklædte Diamant Aue. Zechstein-undergrunden indeholder også kalium- og stensalte. I Frankenhäuser Saline blev der dagligt produceret 250 ton stensalt.
