Brüel er en lille by i den nordlige del af Landkreis Ludwigslust-Parchim i Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Den administreres af Amt Sternberger Seenlandschaft med kontor i byen Sternberg. Stedet er et grundcenter.
Brüel ligger tæt på den midterste Warnow i den nordlige del af Sternberger Seenlandschaft. Byen flankeres af den Røde Sø mod syd, Keezer Sø mod vest samt Tempziner Sø og den Store Labenzer Sø mod nord og nordøst. Den højeste punkt i byområdet er en unavngiven høj sydvest for byen med 70,2 m ø. HN. Afstanden til hansestaden Wismar er ca. 30 kilometer, til delstatshovedstaden Schwerin ca. 27 kilometer.
