Grenzach-Wyhlen ligger ved Hochrhein i trelandernes kryds mellem Schweiz, Frankrig og Tyskland ved de sydlige skråninger af Sydsvarskovene. Tæt på ligger Dinkelberg. Grenzach-Wyhlen er den sydligst beliggende kommune i Baden-Württemberg.
