Bodelshausen er den sydligste kommune i Tübingen-distriktet. Landsbyen ligger fire kilometer nord for Hechingen og tilhører regionen Neckar-Alb samt randzonen af den europæiske metropolregion Stuttgart.
Bodelshausen ligger syd for landskabsskyddsområdet Rammert. Ved den sydøstlige indgang til Bodelshausen ligger Butzensee tæt på motorvejen 27. Lidt længere nordpå ligger det naturbeskyttede område Altwiesen, mens kun en lille del på 0,9 ha af det sydøstligt beliggende naturbeskyttede område Winterhalde tilhører Bodelshausen.
