Wethau er en kommune i Burgenlandkreis i Sachsen-Anhalt. Den består af bydelene Gieckau, Pohlitz, Schmerdorf og Wethau. Den i 2010 nyoprettede kommune som følge af kommunereformen tilhører forenede kommune Wethautal.
Kommune Wethau ligger nord for den forenede kommune Wethautal mellem kommunerne Schönburg mod nord og Mertendorf mod syd. I udkanten af byen flyder den navnlig bæk Wethau. Kommunens sæde ligger cirka fire kilometer sydøst for byen Naumburg. Mod øst grænser den samlede kommune by Teuchern op.
